Andre Alpar (born 1976 in Frankfurt/Main) gained a Masters in Business Informatics from the technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. In the area of Business Economics, he specialised in marketing and in Computer Science his field of expertise was Internet technologies. During his studies, he gained business experiences with a large online gaming platforms (onlinespiele.org) and a publishing house. He also did work experience in the head offices of REWE and Unilever and with Hawaii Yacht Charters & Sales.In the evenings, you can often find him doing WingTsun or jogging. He also likes playing basketball and enjoys local nightlife. |

Gerald Schönbucher (born 1978 in Schwäbisch Hall) studied Business Administration at the Otto Beisheim School of Management (WHU) in Vallendar (Germany), at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (USA) and the Université Sorbonne in Paris, France. His main area of studies was Controlling, Marketing, Strategy as well as Corporate Finance. He qualified with a Masters in 2004. Prior to founding Hitflip, he gained practical business experiences with the BMW Group, Unilever UK, the Samwer brothers at Jamba!, KPMG Corporate Restructuring, Schaeff Participation & Management as well as at Mario’s Joinery in Zimbabwe.In his spare time Gerald likes to play sports. He’s also interested in politics, he reads a lot, and likes going out with friends. |

Jan Miczaika (born 1979 in Rome) studied Business Studies in Marburg (Germany), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and at the Commercial College Leipzig (HHL). He specialised in Accounting and Controlling as well as Strategic Management. In 2003, Jan qualified with a Masters. Prior to founding Hitflip, he gained practical business experiences with 3i, AXA Private Equity, Mundwerk, datango and the General Motors Acceptance Corp. (GMAC). Additionally, Jan and Gerald have worked together as management consultants to various medium-size companies.In his spare time, Jan often races Gerald and Andre or gets involved with Vallendar’s local politics. His biggest hobby is diving, which unfortunately is rather difficult in the River Rhine. |
