How To: Order 18+ rated items

That is why we have to charge 5 GBP for the clearance. After you have requested your clearance and transferred the money, you will receive a letter with your verification code. 1.) Request 18+ content clearance
So you want to receive an 18+ rated item? There are two ways to get to the request form. One way is to go to your settings menu by clicking on ‘Settings‘ in your right navigation bar.
If you have not entered your address information already you should do so before requesting your 18+ content clearance since we need your address in order to send you the letter with the verification code. Click on ‘Change delivery/invoice address‘ to add your address.
In your settings menu you will find a new option ‘Request 18+ content clearance‘ just click on it and you will be forwarded to the request form.
Another way to got to the request form is by trying to add an 18+ rated item to your wish list. By doing so, you will see an error message stating that you have no clearance for that kind of content. Simply click on ‘Request 18+ content clearance‘ there.
On the request form you will be informed that we charge 5 GBP for the18+ content verification due to your processing costs. You will have the choice to pay via your Hitflip balance, bank transfer, PayPal or credit card. If you want to want to pay with your Hitflip credit, please make sure that you have a balance of more than 5 GBP. If you don’t, click on ‘buy credit‘.
After choosing your preferred way to pay, just click on the ‘Request’ button.
2.) Receive your verification code and send it via email to our support
After you have submitted your request for 18+ rated content clearance we will process your request. You can see the status in your settings menu. At the same position where you could click to request the clearance you will see the information: ‘18+ verification submitted (Your verification is being processed)’. If the payment was valid we will send you a letter with your personal verification code.
You will have to copy the code in your verification letter into an email addressed to our Hitflip Support. Please remember to mention your user name in your email. Our support team will then verify your code and will clear you for 18+ rated content. You will be notified by email as soon you have been cleared. In addition your status will be displayed in your settings menu again.
